I'll admit it, I'm one of those post-it-note users! - I use them for phone messages, grocery lists, reminders, you name it!! I "nicely" line them up on my kitchen counter so I'm sure to not miss 'em! They work great for me, only problem is I don't like clutter or any un-necessary junk on my counters. {not to mention, they look taaaacky!}
One of my goals for the New Year is to get my home more organized {especially the cabinets & closets = yikes!} and finish painting/beautifying our home! I have soo much I want to do yet!
- Soo... wanting to start the year off right, here's a fun and EASY DIY way to keep those PINs hidden & tidy. This is soo easy, it's ridiculous!...

While at Staples the other night I looked at their cork-board, for the size I wanted {12x12} it cost $9.99 for a pack of 12x12 sheets?!! I decided to wait and check at Wal-Mart when doing my regular shopping. They had a pack of {4} 12x12 sheets for $5.! I also picked up a pack of jumbo {literally} tacks. **I now wish I would have got wall sticky-tack or putty instead.
In the kitchen I picked a cabinet above the counter, where I usually put my reminders. If your using a roll of cork board, measure the inside of the door, and then cut to fit. Use the thumbtacks to mount the board to the interior of the door, lightly "screwing" them into the door. **Be careful not to push the tacks through!- - Like I said earlier, I would recommend sticky-putty instead, for the sake of your cabinets.
That's it! - Easy or what??!

Amy, love your idea! I've been using scotch tape, but I think I have an extra cork board or two around here somewhere. Rosetta
