Goodmorning friends! - I hope each of you are having a good start to this Valentine's Monday! I am feeling rejuvenated by the warm, spring-like weather and sunshine, praise the Lord! The little ones and I hope to head outside for awhile!
It's been a week now since we returned home from Florida. We had a wonderful vacation; fabulous weather, relaxation & fun, shopping, beach time, and {of course} great food! { I must admit, it took me awhile to transition back to VA living, i could totally live down there.
Any-who, I've wanted to share some sneak-peak pics. of our 'it's-taking-forever' kitchen makeover. ** I hope to post the big "reveal" this weekend! Remember? - This is what it originally looked like....
Boy, did I have a time picking out a color!! It took me 3 tries before I was happy.
*you can see on the above pic., I tried a burnt-orange. {yikes!}
Here's a peek of what I finally picked.... a light stone, gray.
Wanting to keep this project as cheap as possible, I first used as much [as possible] of the decor. that i already had. Aaand of course I resorted to thrifting, too. Here are some of the face-lifts I've been working on.....

Isn't it amazing how a fresh coat of color makes all the difference??!
