Making progress...Alex's Room!

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

Yesterday I was able to work on two projects for little man's room.... personalized "Alex" canvas' and a couple strands of flag garland {pennant}, both for his walls.  Click here for the tutorials.

Like I've said before, our home is a major work in progress. I've been working with a "one room at a time" mind-set, so I don't get overwhelmed with all that I want to do yet. With [part 1] of the kitchen being finished, I've been working to finish up little man's room, before we start working on the backsplash.........
After we moved in, I had fun painting "murals" on the walls. I left them knowing they'd be temporary, and I'd soon paint and decorate his room [forreal].

  After moving in....

I finally got around to painting, after almost two years of neglect.
The yellow wasn't suppose to be so mustardy, I was thinking more sunshiny, but little man loves it and it doesn't bother me enough to fix it now.

Now!
The next project {that we're working on} will replace the bookshelf.  I'm thinking white, to help lighten things up. Also on the list, I'm hoping to come across a kid-safe bunk bed.

Slowly, but surely we're making progress!
