Quiet. Have you ever stopped and thought of all the places there is "noise?" aka: music. - the grocery store, elevators, malls, waiting rooms/lobbies, etc. I'm sure almost everytime you're in the car, {same as me} either the radio or a CD is playing. ..... Am I right?
Since becoming a Mom, I have realized my personal need for quiet. My mind and heart feels cluttered, distracted, empty, when I don't revieve enough of it. Just as Psalm 46:10 tells us, "He says, “Be still, and know that I am God." We need quiet times to refocus, meet with Him, and to listen.
*I challenge myself and each of you :
For one week, to turn off the noise in our vehicles,
and make traveling/driving time, quiet time!?
Sure, it'll be a challenge with our little ones, but what better age to help them cultivate quiet time too?

I am always deeply blessed and encouraged by your 'Thankful Thursdays' responses/comments and emails. It amazes me how much easier life and faith is when you open up, share it, and walk with those around you. I find myself looking forward to Thursdays, not just to share with you, but to hear from you! What you are thankful for, what you are struggling with, what God is revealing to you. So... "THANK YOU!" .... Thank you for sharing, for being vulnerable and real. For inspiring me, for giving me the motivation to keep-on-keeping-on and to always have faith.
It has been on my heart to create an opportunity for you to participate in 'TTs', more than just commenting. I would love to see women of all ages, join me in being intentional about giving thanks! All of that to say... I am exicted to {weekly} open 'TTs' to you!
May we encourage eachother, and most important,
may we remember to whom we are grateful to!
be blessed.
