White Chili Recipe



We've been enjoying many soups this fall and winter, several being new recipes.  This Chili has become a new favorite, it's mild, yet flavorful and hearty!







1  large sweet onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cups shredded cooked chicken
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
2 (4.5 oz.) cans chopped green chiles
(16 oz.) can navy beans
2 (16 oz.) cans Cannellini beans
1 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt

Heat olive oil in a large pot, over medium heat.
Add onions and garlic, saute until tender.
Add pepper, cumin, and salt. Stir to combine mixture well.
Add chicken broth and green chilies, heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, add chicken and beans. Reheat to boiling, then simmer for 30 minutes.


Our family favorite is to top it off with shredded cheese and sour cream!
