A new year, A new direction

Happy New Year, friends!  2013 has already brought much excitement and joy with it!  I love the anticipation a new year brings. It holds the promise of a fresh start, “a clean slate,” so to speak. And the opportunities are endless... to chase your dreams, learn, grow, and live better!

With the excitement, the New Year has also brought change with it, good change that is.  The last months, Amelia Bedelia Designs has been in a state of transition. After several opportunities arose, I knew I needed to reevaluate and determine the focus of ABD.  After a period of praying, considering, and dreaming, I am ready to dive in and move forward in a different direction! May I introduce the new and improved Amelia Bedelia Designs… Amelia Marie Design!   Dreams of event consulting are coming to life through Amelia Marie!  I’m excited to offer event, wedding, and photo shoot décor, styling, and design. Custom accessories and orders will still be offered when feasible.  I feel good about this change and am looking forward to this next chapter, and all God has in store!

Lastly, I want to share with you my ‘one little word’ for the year. Last year, my dear friend Ruby inspired me to pick one word to focus on for 2012. I chose ABIDE, from John 15:4… “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine…”  Pretty self explanatory, huh?!     My word for 2013 is SEEK.  I love what Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find…”  It’s that simple!  Also, Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."   I desire to truly seek Him.  May we all seek Him.  Many blessings and peace in the coming year!
